Simone Lyon specialises in the creation of hand-built, one-off sculptures suitable for both indoor and garden use. On display are bird-baths, wall panels and free-standing sculptures.
Simone obtained her 1st Class Hons degree in 3-D design at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, London. She went on to and run workshops and settled in the Scottish Borders in 1991. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United Kingdom and abroad at a number of prestigeous venues.
The work reflects an interest in natural history, often involving reptiles and birds. Her pieces have included iguanas, chameleons, frogs, toads, vultures and guinea fowl.
Visitors to the Edinburgh area are invited to visit, but please telephone first to ensure that someone will be available to show you around the workshop.
