It is with great sadness I have just discovered that the great sculptor Alan Glasby died in March of this year. I am so glad to have met and talked with him during several shows, and so pleased to have two examples of his work to remember him by.

We are continuing to investigate means of promoting the site, and have recently implemented a Google Sitemap, which will be used to notify Google and other search engines about new works on the site.

We are in the process of writing several articles to be used to promote the site. This is in line with a very successful promotion for a gundog training site we have recently implemented.

The gundog training site has been promoted using a large number of small articles published in tens of other sites and is being vigorously pursued.

We have recently implemented tracking of site visits. This means we are now monitoring all visits to the site, and are pleased to report that in the first few hours monitoring we received visits from as far afield as London, Riyadh, California and Edinburgh.

We are currently upgrading the site with implementation currently planned for early January 2009.

The reason for the upgrade is to move to a more professional development system, which will give us better quality throughout the site.

I will be arranging for all current items and artists to be transferred across to the new site before the implementation, and will notify everyone individually beforehand.
